How does a „plaster“ for the heart work? What do the cells and tissues of this vital organ look like under the microscope? And what connects the heart and brain?
Our current special exhibition „Heart & Brain – Understanding Them Together“ provides insights into the fascinating research of the Cluster of Excellence „Multiscale Bioimaging: From Molecular Machines to Networks of Excitable Cells (MBExC)“. Even if these two vital organs appear very different at first glance, heart and nerve cells have a surprising number of physiological similarities. The guided tour with researchers from the Cluster of Excellence promises background information and in-depth insights.
